Order of the evening:

6.30 pm to 8.00 pm - Supper and socialising. The Club will provide supper, but this will not include a dessert, so if members require this please bring your own, which it is suggested will be nice if available to share. Also, bring your own cutlery and crockery for your desserts and your own wine (or whatever you wish to drink); tea and coffee will be available.

8.00 pm to 8.30 pm (approximately) - Conduct of the Club's Annual General Meeting for 2026. Note particularly that to avoid the AGM being a long, and boring, affair, with the exception of summaries of the state of the Club from the outgoing President and Treasurer, committee members' reports and the minutes of the 2025 AGM will not be read out. These items are appended to the 'Notice of AGM 2026' which is attached to this webpage (in the right hand side bar) and which document has also been e-mailed to all members. Committee members' reports were also contained in the recently circulated September edition of the Club magazine "démarreur". Members are urged to have read the committee member reports and the 2025 AGM minutes so that they can vote on their acceptance (and also raise any issue arising from them if they wish to). 

8.30 pm (approximately) to 10.30 pm - Socialising.

Important notes

Proxy forms - In accordance with the Club's Articles of Association (which are as required by relevant corporation law) there must be a quorum for the AGM to proceed, a quorum being not less than 10% of the Club's membership. To help ensure that there is a quorum, any member who is not going to be able to attend the AGM is urged to give their right to vote at the AGM by way of a nominated proxy. The proxy form also contains a provision for members to nominate themselves, or others, for Club office bearer positions and general committee membership

RSVP - For catering purposes members must RSVP to attend. Members are asked to be please be fair to all by RSVP'ing so that numbers are known for catering and sufficiently provided for. The button to lodge an RSVP is at the top of the right hand side bar. RSVP's must be lodged by not later than Tuesday the 13th of October.
