Member Robert Fatchen has three Citroën BX’s that he is seeking to sell by expressions of interest. Robert purchased these vehicles as a project, but due to changed personal and work circumstances he says that, regrettably, he is not going to be able to move forward with this, hence he is seeking to dispose of them. He is happy to dispose of as a package, or individually. For ease of identification these vehicles have been designated BX1, BX2 and BX3. The first two vehicles are driveable and, by arrangement, can be viewed at either Seymour or East Trentham. The third vehicle, which is for parts only, can be viewed at East Trentham.
Brief details of the vehicles follow.
- BX1 – 1989, 16V, white, 265,000 km, new Bridgestone Ecopia tyres all round, just serviced. currently on club plates (not transferrable).
- BX2 – 1990, 16V, white, 288,000 km, new Kuhmo Ecowing tyres all round, just serviced including new brake pads all round, is close to being able to obtain a Road Worthy Certificate.
Robert comments that both of the above cars drive well, particularly on trips, cruising as they should.
- BX3 – 16V, silver, for parts only. Robert comments that, importantly, the plastic bonnet, front bumper and skirting are in good condition.
