For sale – 2003 Citroën C5 Hdi sedan

Non-member Ray Wyatt has for sale his 2003 Citroën C5 HDi sedan.  Ray comments:

I bought this car new in 2003.  I have always been a great enthusiast of its wonderful hydro pneumatic suspension and general comfort.  I am only selling it because my wife of 52 years recently died and she left me a much newer vehicle.  This Citroen is in excellent condition and I have its full service record since new.  Its body is in good shape (see photos), but as a twenty-year-old car it is not perfect, and it has a minor scratch low down on the front passenger side.  Its interior leather is original and soft, its tyres have plenty left in them and the diesel motor is so economical that you can drive to Sydney and about a third of the way back on just one tank of fuel.  The vehicle is registered until November 27, 2024, and I will supply a roadworthy certificate to any genuine buyer.

Details:

  • Make & model – Citroën C5 HDi 4D Sedan
  • Year of manufacture – 2003
  • Odometer – 244,000 kms
  • Engine – 2.0 liter engine DT DT4
  • Transmission – 4 SP AUTO ACTIVE SEQ
  • VIN – VF7DCRHZE7659656
  • Engine No. – DYPL4003402
  • Serial No. – 01422841
  • Registration No. – SOC 680
  • Asking price – $4,700  reduced to $3,700 (or nearest offer)
  • Location – North Balwyn

For sale – 1968 Citroën ID19 Safari wagon

Member Brad Tully has his 1968 Citroën ID19 Safari for sale.  Brad writes:

I have reluctantly decided to put my beautiful and rare ‘68 ID19 Safari wagon up for sale.  It was repainted in its original Kandahar grey some years back by a previous owner as part of a no expenses spared restoration, that wasn’t able to be completed due to change of circumstances.  Sold to a well-known enthusiast who slowly put it back together over years with help of Lance Collin’s in Queensland.  I can vouch for its originality as it was my daily drive in early 90’s.  Rare crossover model with early strip speedo and 3rd nose with turning headlights. Reconditioned engine during restoration back in 2007, very few kms done since.  All hydraulic components replaced, 123 electronic ignition, new radiator etc.  No rust. Will require new clutch soon.  Would like it to go to someone who will look after it as l and previous owners have done….

  • Make and Model – Citroën ID19 Safari wagon.
  • Year of manufacture – 1968.
  • Odometer reading – 65,500 miles.
