Member Ray Potts has for sale a Citroën DS21-IE cylinder head and associated parts. Ray comments:
I’ve had this on the shelf, gathering dust, for some years with the intention of building a Megasquirt based EFI system for my D-Special. Obviously, now that I’ve sold the car, and the spare motor I was going to use to cobble it together, I don’t have a need for this anymore.
The head is labelled DX112-IE and when I bought it I understood it to be from a DS21-IE. It’s complete (but dirty, sorry) and appears to be in excellent condition. I measured the valve diameters because I’m not used to such large ones!
It comes with the following bits:
- Inlet pipes (x4) and rubber collars. Includes injector retainers but no injectors.
- Inlet manifold. (The big swoopy over the top item!)
- Throttle body.
- Fuel rail inc. adjustable regulator, and a spare regulator.
- Distributor (the injection one with the EFI signal bit in it)
I imagine these are rare on the ground today, but I hope someone with an injected D can use it. Since I paid quite a bit for it, albeit some years ago, it’s not a giveaway.
I’d like around $800 for the lot, but I’m amenable to a fair offer.
